The Captain

Sergio Ramos is a total baller, he started his career from local club Sevilla, his career at Sevilla was not that good, he played 44 games at Sevilla and scored 3 goals before moving to Real Madrid. In the summer of 2005, Real Madrid bought Ramos for €27 million, a record for the Spanish defender. He was the only Spanish player to have been brought in as Real President during Florentino Pérez’s first term. He was the part of Galacticos; he has many disputes at Sevilla with their directors.

Sergio was a born leader, and he proved that several times at Real Madrid and Spain that how important he is for his team. He proved himself everywhere around the pitch not only in defense, but he scored 100 goals at club level (3 for Sevilla and 97 for Real Madrid). He scored 10 goals this season only. At Sevilla want to be Captain, but Sevilla’s board doubted on his ability and said no to Ramos.

At Real Madrid, he won everything La Liga, UCL, Super Cup, CWC, Copa del Rey, he was Real’s second choice, Captain just after the Madrid’s Legend Iker. And he becomes a full-time Captain since the departure of Iker to Porto in 2015. He has a record of collecting most yellow cards in life and he is near to collect most red cards in his entire career. He might surpass the record of Paul Scholes, but this shows how aggressive and passionate he is for the team. Even once he said I don’t need any Ballon dor because I don’t believe in collecting single achievement instead of this I am a team player if I want to win these titles I might play Tennis.

” If world against you I am against the world”- Sergio Ramos Fans

In his captaincy, the whites won 3 straight UCL, which was one of the greatest achievements, even won 5 trophies in 2016-2017 seasons. Los Blancos beat all the European giants in the past in the captaincy of Sergio. This season he won his 4th La Liga title, and he helped his team to win 34th La Liga Santander before coronavirus crisis Barcelona was leading the La LIGA table. Ramos and his team bounce back and won the title with 1 match in the spear. Ramos is 34 for now and playing the last of his career, we hope for the best, for him and his team.
